Our over arching aim, Is to tell this part of the Corps History.

We intend to do this in an open, engaging, and comprehensive manner. Highlighting the pioneering work across the disciplines of Bomb Disposal, EOD, and Search.

The site is run by ex members of the Corps who all served in EOD.

In 1940 the Corps was handed the challenge of dealing with the German, bombing over England. With no knowledge of the fuzing mechanisms, no specialist equipment, nor initially with adequate man power. They rose to the challenge with courage, ingenuity and determination. Sadly these pioneers have passed and so has the opportunity to record for future generations their individual stories. Lets take the opportunity to make sure we prevent that happening again. There are publications around the topic, yet there are many gaps and not in one place the full picture.

This spirit has endured and continued in these tasks ever since.

It is intended that our audience as on or fb group, is wide reaching. It is for everyone with a interest, serving, veterans, families, researchers, historians, worldwide.

As we become more experienced in using this web site we will be adding different features, please bear with us.
