Welcome

BeKind and Courteous. We’re all in this together to create a Group that we are all part of. Treat each other with respect. Healthy debates are welcomed but remember: this group has a wide audience base, male female, young and old, not all are serving or ex-military, always be kind.

Advertising, Charities and Donations. No direct advertising or direct selling on this Group. (Book recommendations, etc., are fine unless you have a vested interest in the sale!) No requests for donations to charities or causes you think are worthwhile. All such posts will be deleted.

Relevant Content. The Group has been set up to share the RE BD/EOD history and research. We are happy to have posts including All Arms/Naval/RAF BD matters and BD/EOD related posts from Forces around the world. However, keep posts relevant to the Group’s remit.

Sharing Information. If you are posting information from other FB groups, web sites or documents, please reference where you found it. Reference to source material (including images) should always be provided if possible.

In all we do be kind.

Remember, these rules apply to everyone who chooses to belong to this group.

Group aims. The focus on history – and filling in the gaps – is central to everything we do. Please try to include as much relevant detail as possible – photos of events and other images, personal recollections or additions to the recollections of others. (If possible, please give your posts a title.)

Contributions to the group will always be shared with the wider BD, EOD and Search community. We do this to build the history within a context of contributions, achievements and sacrifices of the people involved.

Finally, when you do post, it is important to remember that this is a history group specialising in BD, EOD and Search. Please follow our rules.
